Register Now: Mary Kilborn Lecture 2026

This year's Mary Kilborn Lecture is now open for registration. This annual event has been hosted by the Counselling Unit at the University of Strathclyde since 2000. It is a great opportunity to meet with other members of the local person-centred community.

The lecture is being held on Thursday 30 April.

Our speaker this year is Professor David Murphy from the University of Nottingham. David will be talking on the theme of: 'From Treatment to Transformation: Toward a Pedagogical Understanding of Person-Centred Therapy'.

The lecture will be held in a different building on campus than previous years: the Learning and Teaching Building. We'll be on the 4th floor, which can be accessed by lift from Richmond Street or from street level at the top of North Richmond Street.

The lecture will begin at the usual time of 6.30pm (registration from 6pm), followed by a wine reception until 8.30pm.

There is no cost to attend but registration is essential as places are limited.
