On Wednesday, 24th June, the membership of PCT Scotland voted to reform as a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation - a SCIO. Our new name will be Person-centred Therapy Scotland SCIO.
The Co-ordinating Group has now begun the next steps to take this change forward:
- The assets and liabilities of Person-Centred Therapy Scotland will be transferred to Person-centred Therapy Scotland SCIO and there will be elections to a new group of Trustees.
- Existing members of Person-Centred Therapy Scotland will be invited to transfer their membership to Person-centred Therapy Scotland SCIO soon.
- An inaugural EGM of Person-centred Therapy Scotland SCIO will be held on Wednesday 18th November 2026 and a new board of trustees will be elected. All members will be invited to express an interest in becoming a trustee, and to vote in any election.
- The present unincorporated membership organisation will be wound up.
