Welcome to PCT Scotland.

The Association for Person Centred Therapy Scotland (PCT Scotland) is an organisation of person-centred counsellors and psychotherapists, most of whom are based in Scotland.

Our focus is to support the person-centred approach to counselling, and mutually to support each other as person-centred counsellors. Through collective action, we promote activities and events that enable members to share experiences and pursue their interests related to the approach. We live and work in widespread and diverse locations across the country, and so an important function of PCT Scotland is supporting connection with each other through our interactive website and regular e-bulletins.  We also host a Directory of Counsellors, thus drawing attention to the counselling services offered by our members.

There are three categories of membership: Practitoner - fully qualfied person-centred counsellors currently in practice; Affiliate - fully qualfied person-centred counsellors who are not currently practicing; and Student - for those currently engaged in person-centred counselling training.

The association has a small volunteer coordinating group which looks after day to day administration and which supports members in organising their own events, local groups, special interest groups etc. To find out more about us, click here.
