I am a BACP registered Edinburgh therapist, working from both Portobello & the city centre (West End).

My work is relational and trauma responsive, and I meet you and what you bring to our sessions with acceptance, empathy and honesty. I offer a confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore experiences, thoughts and feelings that may be presenting challenges for you.

I have worked within clinical, therapeutic and educational settings in the NHS, community health projects and third sector organisations since 2004. Over the last 4 years I have divided my time between psychotherapy and working within the NHS, facilitating training in trauma as part of a national programme for Scotland’s workforce.

I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy and have worked both short and long-term with a diverse range of adults, within a specialist young people’s service and as an initial assessment counsellor with PF Counselling in Edinburgh. I am currently studying an MSc in Advanced Counselling and Psychotherapy Studies and Clinical Supervision.

I believe strongly in the power of the therapeutic relationship - that when we have a place where all parts are welcome, where we can “hear” from ourselves and be heard, and deepen our connection with ourselves - we create space for transformational change and growth.

Specialising in Counselling, Supervision, Training, Facilitation, Bereavement, Depression, Addiction, Trauma, Anxiety, Stress, Abuse, Consultancy, Coaching, Neurodivergence, Gender, Sex, and Relationship Diversity (GSRD), Disability
And also I have practised yoga since 1999 and see many parallels between yoga and therapy, it is a practice where we can find our edges, make space to hear what our inner landscape is telling us and cultivate a gentler relationship with ourselves. I currently teach with Edinburgh Community Yoga and offer an integration of yoga and psychotherapy to some clients who choose this.
