Welcome to my profile.

I am a qualified Person Centred Counsellor and Psychotherapist (PGDip), a qualified Psychologist (MSc), with over 14 years therapeutic experience, over 20 years experience in community based services and a BACP accredited therapist.

I offer a gentle, client centred, compassionate, trauma informed and science informed approach to therapy. I believe in everyone's inherent capacity and strengths to recover, heal and grow. My personal belief is that we all deserve second chances in life as well as being inherently worthy of finding joy and purpose.

My commitment to you is to offer you a high quality therapeutic service, in a safe, reliable, non-judgemental and transparent space, for the duration of time you choose to undertake therapy with me.

My special professional interests are overcoming trauma and post traumatic growth (childhood abuse, domestic abuse, bullying or other past traumatic experience), neuro-diversity (Autism and/or ADHD), and disability or chronic conditions.

I am a clinical supervisor for individuals and groups/ teams, who practise counselling, psychotherapy or an aligned profession.

My training is in applied psychology, developmental psychology and in Rogerian person centred therapy. My style as a supervisor is predominantly collaborative, approaching clinical supervision as a means for you to support your practise and grow as a therapist.

As a supervisor, I endeavour bringing a culmination of my clinical experience, experience in private and organisational practise and years of education and personal development, to offer you bespoke input in the areas you require.

Areas I have previously worked on, even though not exhaustive list, are in complex and/or childhood trauma, addictions, domestic violence, gender based violence and women’s aid, University students and unpaid carers (both of which accounts for a wide scope of clinical input), late diagnosed Autistic/ ADHD/AuDHD.

Please note, I am a bilingual practitioner, and I have studied and practised both in Greek and English. I am currently residing in Scotland for the past 17 years and I practise mainly online, UK-wide.

If you consider getting in touch to discuss working together, I will be very pleased to hear from you.

Warm wishes,

Eleni.
