Audrey Smith

Sometimes we can go round in circles trying to figure out what to do and it feels like out head will explode. Well meaning family and friends give us their tuppence-worth on what they think we 'should' do, and then we feel the pressure mounting. Talking to a counsellor is an option you might consider.

I can offer a safe, warm, non-judgemental, open and confidential space for you to explore what is troubling you. I work in the way that best suits you; we can just chat, we can explore with creative intervention or we can work with worksheets. I am open to exploring what is the best and most effective way to bring about change and a different perspective to my client’s problems.

I work as a practice manager and volunteer counsellor for a charity, as well as in private practice and I am currently working towards my counselling accreditation. I also offer supervision to other therapists.

In my spare time....I organise workshops for counsellors and anyone interested in personal development (www.greenwoodevents.co.uk). This allows me to keep up-to-date with my continuing professional development as well as the latest counselling research, policies and techniques.

I am passionate about counselling and the opportunity it offers for growth and change in people’s lives.

I work mainly from home in Milton of Campsie, but also have access to counselling rooms in Falkirk and Kirkintilloch.

I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice.
