PCE 2022 Conference: Copenhagen

Updated

July 04, 2022 - July 08, 2022

Cost: See website | Organised by Danish Society for PCE Psychotherapy / WAPCEPC | Application deadline: July 04, 2022 | event website | Not for profit | There is wheelchair access.

The 15th World Conference for the World Association for Person-Centered and Experiential Psychotherapy and Counseling (WAPCEPC) will take place in Copenhagen from 4 - 8 July 2022. The organisers are planning an In Person conference, and exploring the possibility of some online access.

The conference theme is: How Can I be of Help? – Formulating and Facilitating Change Together.

The theme is inspired by the simple, yet fundamental question which Carl Rogers asked himself: “How can I be of help?” It is a question we think is of interest for person centered and experiential (PCE) practitioners and researchers, as well as more broadly in the world of psychotherapy. A question we find it worthwhile revisiting in order to explore what answers may be found today.

Information about keynote speakers and the draft programme is available on the website.

The call for papers will open in October 2021 and close on 1st February 2022.

Registration will open in the Autumn (date to be confirmed).

There will be pre-conference events on 2 - 3 July including one day workshops led by Ann Weiser Connell, and Les Greenberg, a 2-day encounter group, and PCE Cinema.
