Presenter - Fiona Harvie, BSc, PGCE Dip Counselling, MCOSCA
My career started in education then led to technology in financial services. I originally decided to train as a counsellor as a means of serving my church and to improve my effectiveness as a manager at work.
After qualifying in 2014 I continued to volunteer in two church counselling centres gaining much more experience with more complex cases.
In 2016 I took an opportunity to retire from my job and I planned to start up a Counselling Practice. I spent a year researching and planning this step.
I opened my practice in September 2017 and have since provided help and advice to others starting out.
