Our lives are full of endings - good and bad, quick or slow, planned or unplanned.
This workshop will explore,
* Endings with clients ( and supervisees)
* Timing and managing the process
* What makes a good enough ending?
* Some difficulties
* The impact on the counsellor
The workshop is relevant to counsellors and supervisors at all stages of their personal and professional lives, from all modalities, and in all settings.
Sally Despenser currently works in several end of life and bereavement settings, as a counsellor and supervisor. She has also written about coming to an end as a counsellor (leaving the profession for whatever reason), managing the process and the feelings.
