Hi, I am Aga. I know how difficult it is to reach out for support and how bumpy our personal journey can be at times.

I am an experienced, BACP accredited counsellor and supervisor and I have worked with a variety of issues including trauma, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, bereavement, self-harm, relationship issues and stress.

I believe that the key in my therapeutic work is simply being there for you with an open heart and mind. Being fully present means meeting you and your life's journey with empathy and compassion, because I know from the experience how powerful it can be to feel really seen and understood.

My own life experiences shaped me as a person and made me become a counsellor. I feel I can relate on a deep level to someone, who may be facing struggle and emotional pain.

I am warm and friendly and this helps people to feel at ease with me.

I can offer an empathetic and open therapeutic approach. I work in a convenient location in Glasgow City Centre. I aim to create a safe and welcoming space, where you can explore any issues or difficulties that are affecting you.

I work in a person-centred way, that recognises and values each person as an unique individual. You will have time and space to process your feelings in a peaceful and non-judgmental environment.

In my counselling career, I have worked in many settings including St Margeret's Hospice, Ayrshire Hospice, Cardonald College and the Tom Allan Centre in Glasgow. I also worked in an EAP agency offering work place counselling. Currently, I am supporting and mentoring students at the University of the West of Scotland.
