The intimacy of authenticity
'Unstructured' encounter
Linda Smith
I work in a variety of contexts and am becomming increasingly interested in how intimacy and authenticity seem to have something of an elusive about them, while being desired aspects of relationship to Self and Other. For me, authenticity is crucial if I am to experience intimacy. I am on the staff at Temenos, a person-centred training organisation in Sheffield.
Gillian Proctor
I love retro clothes shops and hate shopping. I love learning about trust and joy from my dog Dharma. I love thinking and writing about therapy, ethics and society and thrive on the complexity of relational communication. I'd love to write a novel but in the meantime I've authored a book on power in therapy and edited 2 books on feminism amd politics and therapy (PCCS books). This year I finally realised a long held ambition to write a song - music and lyrics!
