When's the last time someone really listened to you? When did you have someone's individual attention without being interrupted or told what they would do?

I know that there are times in life when things can get too much. Stress at work, relationship break-up, grief, loss and trauma are things that all of us can experience at times. This can leave us feeling anxious, overwhelmed or isolated. Life doesn't always run as smoothly as we would like and counselling can be a way of helping you through these tough times.

My clients come to counselling because something has happened to them or some strategy has stopped working. They find counselling to be a real benefit for them. They feel listened to without judgement. I understand that it will take a lot of courage for you to take the first step to counselling, so I will provide you with a safe and confidential space to talk. I will support you through your counselling at a pace that suits you and will commit to help you through this difficult time.

I have a wide range of experience of helping clients with issues such as anxiety, stress, depression, loss and bereavement and relationship issues. I can help you to look at some of the reasons for negative thinking patterns or addictive behaviours. I believe that self-care is crucial to our mental health and will help you to prioritise this for yourself. My clients tell me that they feel listened to and have been helped to make positive steps to help deal with some of the difficulties they are facing.

I work with both individuals and couples.

Relationships can be difficult. You may feel that you have lost the ability to communicate effectively in your relationship without arguing. But, communication can be difficult if you are hurting. The two of you may find it helpful to have a third person there to talk through difficult issues or help a constructive conversation take place.

I will respond to your enquiry. Please check your SPAM folder if you do not receive a reply within 24 hours.
